our dm is doing a battle royal an this is the first time ill be playing a lvl 20 character i need help i dont know what magical items i should get the rule for item is as fallow
-1 Exalted Vestige OR Legendary Item that requires attunement OR Artifact (all of which require DM approval) -1 Very Rare Item that requires attunement -1 Rare item that requires attunement -1 Legendary basic item -2 Very Rare basic items -3 Rare basic items -4 Uncommon basic items -5 Common basic items
Legendary needing attunement - Robe of the ArchMagi Ac 15+Dex/Advantage on spell saving throws/+2 increase to Spell attack and DC
Legendary not requiring attunement - Ring of 3 Wishes
Very Rare - Arcane Grimoire - +3 to your spell attack and DC
Very Rare unattuned - Tome of Clear Thought (would have boosted your Int to 22 if you can do in advance) Or Carpet of Flying 3X5 cause flying speed of 80 feet is nice
Rare Attuned - Cloak of Displacement (attackers have disadvantage on attacks)
Rare Unattuned - Potion of Invulnerability / Silver Horn of Valhalla (2d4+2 bezerkers ho can attack for you)
Not sure uncommon or common items could be anything really.
These combinations up your spell DC/Attack rolls by +6. This will be huge in making sure your spells land. You also have advantage on spells save, attacks have disadvantage to hit you and you are flying really fast so you can blast from a distance. Oh and you have 4 wish spells at your use (if you took wish as a 9th level spell)

Depends.
If your AC is low I'd say get a +1, 2 or 3 shield or +1, 2 or 3 set of armor.
For combat I would rely on spells if your weapon attacks are not super great.
For weapons I'd do a Nine Lives Stealer (Very OP) DM may not allow though.
