I'm new to D&D Beyond. I did a quick search before I made this but didn't find anything. How do you other DMs handle items found (Like gems and spell components) throughout the players' journey? I can't seem to add gemstones or other items to my players' character sheet/s.

I'm new to D&D Beyond. I did a quick search before I made this but didn't find anything. How do you other DMs handle items found (Like gems and spell components) throughout the players' journey? I can't seem to add gemstones or other items to my players' character sheet/s.
There is a section called "Other Possession" in the Inventory. You can note there those items.
