We're in the middle of Beyond Dragon of Icespire Peak, but I'm looking forwards to what happens after. We'd like to take our characters to L20, but obviously BDoIP only takes characters to L13 (maybe 14, I can't remember). I've thought about homebrew, but I think I'd like to do that from L1, hopefully, I can start on somewhat familiar ground rather than dealing with monsters that I've never seem before.
The only official adventure that is aware of that goes to L20 is WD: Dungeon of the Mad Mage. However, it mostly hack 'n' slash from what I've been told, whereas we'd like something with a bit more...depth. Do you have any suggestions? Starting level can be flexible, since we only have two player characters (our higher level will balance the smaller party) or we can do a short homebrew to "catch us up" if the starting level is higher than 13/14.

I can't really recommend anything specific, but if you look outside the official WotC publications there are certainly options:
- https://adventurelookup.com/adventures?edition=5th Edition&setting=Setting Neutral~Forgotten Realms&minStartingLevel=≥14
Just play around with the filters a bit, see what you can find. DMs' Guild ratings aren't always perfect advice, but they're a decent start.
