I'm in a campaign with some friends as a PC, but i've bought and shared multiple books( xanathars, thasha's ) with them. As our adventure is a starter kit, we dont want the PC's to have acces to content from these books yet ( for example spells).
But my DM and me haven't found an option to block xanathar's and tasha's from the players. Disabling the shared content doesn't block spells from xanathar's being added to the lists of our PC's.
This means a bloated spell selection list with no way to filter or block by book, meaning it's very annoying for us.
Hi,

Is there a way for me / our dm to fix this?
Edit: I was completely wrong, so I removed my suggestions.
Toggling books off only keeps others from reading them, it does not inhibit the character creator.
