So Volos Guide and Mordenkeinans tomb of foes both include a lot of lore information, sections on the illithid, gith, giants, the war between demons and devils etc.
Is all this lore also included in the new Monsters of the Multiverse book to the same detail? Or will DMs still need to buy those 2 books to access the lore as well?
There is quite a bit of lore in the new book. I don't have a copy of the other two in order to compare, but there isncertainly enough that you don't need the other books - which isn't to say that there isn't lore present in those that isn't in MotM, nor vice versa.
