I'd like to run DM Icewind Mail one of these days before we start in ID:RotFM, and I'm curious how many ~3-hour sessions that adventure takes from start to finish.
It's going to depend on the group. How the group plays to be honest. I recently tried to look up the #of sessions to run the Dungeon of the Mad Mage. The answer was somewhere between 42 4 hour sessions and 122 sessions at about 3.5 hours. That's a huge discrepancy. I have a group running Ice spire we should finish next session. We completed 2 of those dungeons a session. But we have slowed to 1.5 per session the last few weeks as our skills have grown and we have engaged in more roleplay as we get more comfortable.

I get that the answer depends on the table, but this is a fairly small adventure. I'm just looking for a rough estimate.

I'm an idiot. My bad. I thought this was a spelling error. I will pass on to someone who has run this short oneshot.
