In a campaign I'm in, one of our players died about a year ago. Is there a way for the DM to take ownership of the character? We've kept her character in the party (with someone else playing her but unable to update anything, and the DM updating her stats), but this would be much easier if ownership of the character can be changed somehow. Is this even possible???

Davyd, Bummer. Thank you for the info. IamSposta, we tried this. [REDACTED] Plaguescarred, that's propbably what we will end up doing. Linklite, thank you for that. I'll try that 1st, before I re-create the character.

I'm afraid this isn't possible, only the account that has claimed the character can unassign it
