Looking for recommendations on podcasts that help teach people how to play the game. I see a lot of DM advice podcasts and of course tons and tons of actual play, but I'm not seeing a lot out there that covers what it's like to be a player, how to play the game, tips on roleplaying, etc.
Drop your recos if you have any that you know about and love...
And if you're a consumer of podcasts, do you think a podcast that takes this player perspective would be something you'd want to listen to? If so, what kind of topics would you want to see?

playing Jin Wei, human (Kara-tur) way of the Four Elements Monk in the Princes of the Apocalypse
Interesting question; I can't say I'm aware of any podcasts like that. The closest thing I can think of is Ginny Di's youtube videos on playing (she has a playlist specifically geared towards new players). A podcast that combines actual play with breakdowns of players' decision-making, roleplay, mechanical knowledge, and things like that could definitely be interesting (kind of like Critical Role's 4-Sided-Dive videos but with more detail).
While not D&D specific, though uses D&D often as an example, Seth Skorkowsky's playlist of "RPG Philosophy" has a few player oriented videos. They work well for new and experienced players. These aren't "crunchy" system specific vids, more generally how to be a "good sport" in TTRPGs to have personal enjoyable but also bring in the fun for the rest of the table.

Speaking of Critical Role, they made a series of videos called Handbooker Helper that are basically short little videos made to explain the basics of D&D. They aren't podcasts, but other than that, they fit the bill.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.
