Some bullet points to try and keep this shorter: • I'm in a campaign (as a player) and have my content shared with everyone in that campaign. • We're about to start a second new campaign tomorrow (same GM and some of the same players). • Player x tried to make a new character using Tasha's unarmed fighter (part of my shared content). • He was not able to make that choice in his character. • In another forum thread, I was told, the player has to create the character within the particular campaign (even though they can read the source material outside of the campaign). • I set up a test campaign, and yes, he was then able to create his character in that test within that campaign. • Other GM just set up his new campaign now.
Question: How can player x, get his character out of my "test campaign" and into the new campaign with the other GM (which I also have content sharing enabled). Will he be allowed to "copy" his character under his character management page? Can he leave my 'test campaign' and still keep his shared content "active" and then join the other new campaign? Does he have to go through and create a whole new character in the new campaign? Just a bit confused with the limitations of using shared content and allowing my friends to create new characters. Thanks for any input.
Follow up question: I'm in a couple campaigns now where I'm sharing my content. IF I were to ever leave, or stop my subscription, would that break everyone's character who used any shared content to make their character?
If the player selects the link to join the new campaign, he can pick any of his current characters, which includes the one currently in your old campaign - the character will then move to be part of the new campaign.
If you are in the new campaign with the other GM, then as long as that other GM has enabled content sharing then the player will still be able to access your content.
If the other player moves the character out of a campaign with sharing, then the character will keep any abilities it already has, but it won't be able to add new abilities from any books that that player doesn't own - and if he removes an ability from a shared book, then he won't be able to re-add it later (unless the character rejoins a campaign with the relevant material shared).

Interesting. Thanks for the explanation.
