So, my Fighter just leveled up to 3, I want to select the Subclass Eldritch Knight but it says I have to go to the Marketplace to add more choices then just Sharpshooter and Champion. What do I have to purchase to be able to become a Eldritch Knight?
In the marketplace page for the Player's Handbook, scroll down past Additional Purchase Options, to the Subclasses. There you can purchase Eldritch Knight individually if that's all you want.

I think that's right, PHB has Champion, Battle Master, and Eldritch Knight. You can check the store page and on the PHB store page see if there are individual options for purchase from that source.
No, it doesn't count, unfortunately. However, if you want to save a couple of bucks, you can use your PHB entry to "homebrew" the Eldritch Knight subclass (just don't publish it). Whether it's worth going to that effort rather than simply paying $1.99.for the official subclass is a decision for you.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
If you are in a campaign your DM could share his if he has it, that would let you gain access to it and spells. The next thing you will find if you buy Eldritch Knight is that lots of spells won't be available to you until you buy them individually or the whole PHB.

Probably the Player's Handbook

I own the hardcover book, the Player's Handbook, but I guess that doesn't count.
