I am notnew to TTRPGs having played several but I am very new to DnD. I found a new copy of DnD Essentials for $12.49 so I picked it up. The flyer included inside was to this website! I was hoping to get some direction on where to get into games.
1. I really dont have much of a game group at home. My regular group loves board games, but really no interest in RPGs. I would love to lean on this community to get into either Live Play games via the internet or even Play-by-Post games in the DnD:B Forums.
2. I would also love to know if there are resources for Solo Play campaigns available for DnD.
Your point wasn't worded as a question so I'm not sure I understood you right, but that's where you can find groups. I've not used them so I can't vouch for how good they are.
https://www.dmsguild.com/m/ has all sorts of 3rd party adventures, materials, etc, including 1 player adventures. I've only played one 1 player adventure (not from DMsguild so this isn't a judgment on them) and it wasn't great. Since it's a computer just telling you a fixed story, and mediating fights...it was basically like playing Skyrim. But with dice. Next to no interactivity. Rubbish graphics. I'd say just go and play Skyrim instead, it's much better, because it lacked everything that made D&D great and kept all the weaknesses. Maybe I just got one that sucked, though.
If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
As for solo play, the only thing I ever heard of is from Ginny Di in her video here. And she play tests it too, which gives you a really great example of how it plays!

You are correct. My apologies. Thank you for the links!

I am sorry if this is not the place to post this.
