I went to buy Dragonlance from D&DBeyond and was told BY THIS SITE to do it through Wizards.com, it's faster and better!
So I head there, make an account, link it, buy the book... for $59
Then I'm sent back here where I'm told
1) I haven't purchased it yet
2) It's only about $26 because of my subscription/bundles.
WHAT?!?!?!
Why did you direct me to Wizards.com?! Why did you tell me it was faster/better?!
It's absolutely absurd it was not pointed out to me that our discounts here do not translate over there. Please literally NEVER direct us there if we have an account with you!
I love D&DBeyond, been using it for over 3 years, paid subscription and own almost all the books. Why would you screw over longtime fans/players/evangelists/PAYING CUSTOMERS?
I'm sorry you're confused, but this is the first instance I've seen on the board of someone mistakenly buying the physical and digital bundle for $59 (which gives you access to the DDB book two weeks ahead of release) instead of the DDB only purchase which would credit your bundle discount. I really don't think there's anyway WotC could have explained what the bundle you purchased that made it any clearer.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
It's $59 for the physical book and DDB book, which you'll get through a code emailed to you, via WotC's website. Unfortuantely, your bundle discounts don't work.
It's $29.99 for you to buy it through DDB, but you only get the DDB, no physical book (hence the difference in price). You bundle discounts do work.
If you wish to just get the DDB book for cheaper, contact customer support at WotC and see if you can get a refund. If it makes you feel better, at least you're getting a decent deal as part of the bundle. In Britain,.either because they've made a mistake and entered the same digits for the price (it's still £59.99, despite that being a significantly higher value than $59.99) or they're just greedy, it's actually more expensive to buy the bundle than it is to buy them separately. You have to be on your toes to realise it, though, because they're saying it's a good deal.

With the understanding you're getting here from fellow Gamers and Consumers, I say don't buy this new book and let your silence speak on their handling of the purchase options.

Why was I bounced there then when I was trying to buy the digital version here?

From where on this site did it send you there?

The banner sent you to Wizards.
