With the plasmoid race, I'm try to dream up a T-1000-like character. Anyone see a better option than an Armorer Artificer (looking specifically at the Arcane Armor feature at level 3)?
The armorer doesn't really fit the liquid-metal assassin vibe of the T-1000. A Path of the Beast barbarian would let you grow claws or spines to attack people with, and also let you match its nigh-unkillable nature.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
