I am going to run a three or so shot based on Jurrassic Park and I want to do a escape from the Tyranosaurus Rex like sequence. The party is going to level ten and the Tyranosaurus Rex is being replaced by a Terrasque. The party will be trying to escape in a arcane powered carriage. What I came up with after looking up ideas was skill challenges but is there another idea you would recommend? Thank you, have a nice day and God Bless you.
The DMG has chase rules on p252-255, which is obviously a bit much to copy here. You might also have to amend the the obstacle tables to account for the fact that it's a T-Rex and not a Kobold chasing you, and that you're effectively driving rather than running, but it does the heavy lifting for you.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
That article actually summarises the rules.from the DMG - although it is missing the obstacle tables.

Yeah, but it also provides tips on chases and some of the author’s experiences. Not great if you’re short on time, but it was a fun read for me.
I wasn't criticising - it was helpful because the reader doesn't have to dig out the DMG to read the rules.

Thank you both for your help.
