I recently made a ranger and later found out about some good UA features for the class, and was wondering if I can enable it on my character sheet to substitute the normal abilities.
In the character creation, I checked the option for ''Playtest Content'', but I don't see any difference.
It depends on which UA content you're talking about. UA content that is considered 'archived' by WotC (anything that got finalized and published, anything that got nixed, including anything published before 2018) is not available as Playtest content (you would have to homebrew it). Some of the newer stuff (especially the Class Feature Variants) have not yet been fully integrated into the character sheet and are therefore not available yet (no firm ETA, other than that they're working on it). Some of that you can homebrew yourself in the meantime, too.
