Well, here's another article about D&D article you didn't ask for. I don't know why have this article now, the timing is weird. Anyho', I thought I'd post it. But be warned, for peeps like us who are well versed in D&D lore and history, it's got some eye rolling sentences in there and the information is presented rather haphazardly. But hey, at least it's a positive article.
The article’s timing is in advance of the upcoming D&D film, so it is not too surprising that we will start to see publications like this. There is not really anything new to on the topic, but films have a way of bringing out puff pieces that retread the same ground and make for easy publications. Hopefully future articles will be better researched—this article is heavily based in myth, not fact, and perpetuates Gygax’s false narrative of the game’s creation.
