what do you think is one of the most underrated feats (no 3rd party stuff) i think the Aberrant Dragonmark is super under rated. it uses con so its great for any fighter to get a ranged cantrip or something else and a 1st level spell.
I think the racial feats (other than Elven Accuracy) get overlooked a lot, particularly Second Chance, Dragon Fear/Hide, and Infernal Constitution.
I think Shadow-Touched gets overlooked a lot because of Fey-Touched also.
I haven't seen a lot of discussion around the Bigby's feats, but I think they're all good. I could definitely see Ember of the Fire Giant, Guile of the Cloud Giant, Fury of the Frost Giant etc featuring in a number of builds.
I don't think Ritual Caster gets enough love. It's a great way to tack on casting to a non-casting class that isn't limited to one level 1 spell per day, and provides out of combat utility. Not to mention you can learn new spells you come across, unlike with Magic Initiate.

I'd rather just take a level IN a class with Ritual casting, than use the Ritual Caster feat.

Iv used the hill giant portion of the bigbys feat and its amazing for getting people prone even more so when you can get if from a background (if your DM allows them) The infernal constitution one i enjoy its a half feat just gives you one of the best parts of dwarfs and just cold resistance ontop of your fire resistance

Idk I feel like my "magic detective" character concept is better served by Inquisitive Rogue with a familiar and Detect Magic than just Inquisitive Rogue plus wizard
It does not just give you the ability to cast ritual spells in your chosen class but it lets you do it at equal to half your total level. A one level dip into any caster class does NOT let you do that.
"The spell must be on the spell list for the class you chose, the spell’s level can be no higher than half your level (rounded up), and it must have the ritual tag. "
So a 12th level character with ritual caster can cast ritual spells of 6th level. And some of those spells are very very good for utility and in some cases do work in combat with planning.

Look at ritual caster again.
