For my first try to order the Dragonlance digital & physical bundle I ended up on the D&D Beyond store directly, which basically only serves the US. Even Canada is $42.99 shipping, and Europe is a whopping $82.99 shipping. Trying again I suddenly got a popup asking me whether I wanted to use the EU store. Sure, yes! I ordered the Dragonlance digital & physical bundle there, which was $5 more expensive than in the US, but cost only $12.99 shipping. But annoyingly this was *not* the D&D Beyond store, but the "Wizards Online Store". I was promised the digital version too, but D&D Beyond isn't aware that I should get that. I am not sure whether I will get that "unlock your digital copy 2 weeks early" offer, or whether there will just be some sort of D&D Beyond redemption code printed in the book.
your WoTC account and DNDBeyond account should be sync'd. You can log into both using the same credentials.
that being said, if you used an older account for either, then you may want to contact Customer Service directly to verify if a discrepancy took place. I would also think the order should show up under your Marketplace tab in DNDB, at least eventually. The transactions list should list it.
The shipping was surprising, $12 for a D&D hardback sized book domestically is a bit steep, even among the smaller presses that don't have the access to robust logistics and distributions chains a subsidiary of Hasbro would have. While I can see the bundling DDB and hardcopy as enticing, plus the "early acccess" through DDB, I see the shipping rate shooting themself in the foot on the level that putting MMM in a boxed set has, I guess we know whoever came up with that scheme kept their job and what their next project was.

The FAQ said you'd be emailed a redemption code, so I assume you'll get that code during the 2 week preview period.
d'oh, i missed that. so yeah, keep an eye on your email over the next couple of weeks. That also means you could gift that redemption code if you wanted too.
As a Canadian I found those shipping prices to be ridiculous, especially because the last time I bought from wizards (mtg secret lair) I was billed another 50 on top of that for duties. Until they find more efficient ways to distribute over here, I'll have to pass. Buying the physical and the digital books separately ends up being almost 50% cheaper. How does that make any sense?
Okay pre-ordered in Europe. The dragonlance digital deluxe bundle, 12+ euro delivery fee. Only one sad thing; it is going to be delivered in february 2023 :( guess there's no faster boat to ship them over here. Did rereive an email. No, code, but you get a link to the DND Beyond website to apage with your un-generated key. If you click unlock key, it will generate the key. Beware that you will loose your refund when you generate a key.

well, I normally wait with pre-orders (video games, tabletop and hardware) but Dragonlance has been part of highscool and beyond, so I have put money aside the moment Wizards announced Dragonlance was coming to 5e. Guess today is the day they took my money. (I don't care if Criticale Role will give us a discount code tonight, was worth it to buy something triggered by pure emotion)

Thank you for telling me about the key at the bottom of that e-mail, I had overlooked that.
I got my digital code and redeemed it upon purchase the content was then unlocked automatically upon digital release, some people I know have already have received their copies of the physical book (physical and digital book only combo) and I have seen standard copies of the book in retail stores in England. I am still waiting on my physical copy though as I ordered the big bundle with the board game and special edition book cover, I was going to order the retail exclusive alt cover too from my FLG's but they are saying they won't be getting it til Feb.
(the store I saw a physical copy of the book in was quite a big retail chain.)
Where on earth are the physical copies of these Books? Honestly NEVER pre order from wizards again. I've waited months for the books I pre-ordered in AUGUST 2022! I should be one of the first to get it not the last! Its been in shops and online retailers in the UK for months now and IM still waiting. WOTC dont sell us something and make us wait 7 months! next time open pre-orders a month or two in advance not half a year. Very unhappy with WOTC another fail.
To be fair, they did declare that it wouldn't be released until January (I think? Certainly no earlier than December for physical copies). Obviously, it's not really acceptable that we're in March and you're still waiting, but they needed an idea of demand and enough lead time to account for it. Should have gotten them out by now, though.

I think the official release was 28th Feb for the deluxe bundle as the board game was going to be released at a later date than the books, I received a notification yesterday that the delivery depot has my order and I'm just waiting now for a delivery date it was due yesterday but I don't think they had a driver in my area or something. Overall I am not satisfied but at least I know it is coming at some point in the next few days *fingers crossed*
Mine arrived today but its taken so long the hype has died off and I've moved onto other things. I'll dig it out again at some point but I'm not going to pre order from Wizards again. 7 months wait is ridiculous.

Anyone know more about the deal for Europe?
