Both Malthus and Malphas are demons who tend to excel at construction. Malthus tends to resemble a dove or a stork, while Malphas looks more like a raven. Who knows? Maybe there's some form of rivalry there, that I don't know about.
Officially? Not that I'm aware of, however, there are constructs that serve Demon nobles in the abyss: Retriever.
However, as with Zariel, you could imagine a similar transformation taking place for a native from the plane of Mechanus.
Interesting point about the corruption of a being from Mechanus, it's from Dragon magazine (#354), but there was an idea in there that after what happens in the Planescape adventure Great Modron March, the modron hierarchy is corrupted and one of the Secundi turns evil and takes a massive contingent of modrons to the lower planes. That being could easily go on a Zariel-like path of becoming a devil lord. I was having them camp out in Acheron as undead-modrons, but I could easily see Asmodeus viewing them as an excellent addition to the forces of Hell.
(Of course, I'm biased about that article. ;) Either way, I can't wait until Planescape is open for DMs Guild and I can expand on it.)
Is there a devil or demon that is associated with constructs?

That gives me some direction, thanks.
