Lots of people say they will unsubscribe. The other polls all assume you already have a subscription. This poll is to give a bit of insight in what percentage of potential payers WotC/Hasbro is chasing away.
So, for all those that have no subscription: will you subscribe under the new OGL1.1?

Cedo nulli, Calcanda semel via leti. Parvi sed magni.
From a technical standpoint I haven't spent any money on the beyond system so unsubscribing isn't really as much of an issue for me, but unless I see a far more Equitable OGL put forward that serves both parties interests I simply don't see the point due to how hard Wizards has fumbled matters in general.
I will never subscribe. The concept of subscribing to a book is idiotic. Whomever came up with the idea should be ashamed, as should anyone who actually fell for such a scam.
I would, however love free access to any official WotC that I have already purchased (with proof of purchase) through the dnd Beyond website as a free perk. That would be lovely.

You're not subscribing to a book, obviously. You're subscribing to a set of tools that allow you to use the books more easily and efficiently.

These guys invented this subscription service to suck your money out of your pockets. These TOOLS you speak about could be sold as a single product you load onto your computer, etc. and use as you please, but they didn't.
They decided to put THEIR hand in YOUR pocket each month to MAXIMIZE PROFIT. Then, when this ploy reached the saturation point they decided to screw over everyone who is using 3rd party products rather than their own offerings. Then the decided that wasn't good enough, and included language that stated that they could STEAL YOUR content if they like it, and sell it as their own. Then they decided that they could terminate your subscription without cause, or with minimal cause. Thereby leaving you out to dry without any recourse what so ever.
The idea that this is providing a vital service is bullshiviks!
This "service" only enables the company to exploit laziness for profit. Everything you need or should need to play any roleplaying game should be included in the rules you bought to play the game with. You don't need D&D Beyond to Play D&D.

The only real value of the Beyond service imho is that it allows me to provide a permanent reference online for my character. that's it.
Hey man, I appreciate that you're really upset about all this recent stuff that's going on--I cancelled my subscription, myself--and I get that the subscription regardless of that may have never been a good fit for you personally, but nothing you're saying about DDB subscriptions is accurate. It's also both kinda narrow-minded and insulting to your peers here to imply anyone who has or had a subscription is lazy or stupid. We should all be in this together, man.
I won't go into details right now because, again, you're quite rightfully upset, and nobody's really at their best when that's the case. If you want though, I won't mind elaborating. For now though, maybe you need to just relax a bit. It's a tough time for all of us in this community right now.
so I unsubscribed a couple moths ago just because I've felt like the quality of both the books and site(updates) have been getting worse so unless the new OGL is leagues better and the quality of their products improves I've no intent to resubscribe.

If I can't say something nice, I try to not say anything at all. So if I suddenly stop participating in a topic that's probably why.

My apologies for my insensitivity. Using the term lazy was indelicate.
Hey man it's all good, we say stuff we don't mean to when we're upset. I kept rewriting my own post because I realized I could have come across as argumentative and that wouldn't have been helpful either.

Yep. Why not bring back the program, like in the good old days?

Maybe. Depends on the actual OGL 2.0 and if Wizards does anything with ToS 5.2
