As the topic says - I'm looking for alternatives that I can use either now or in the future depending on how the OGL fire goes
I've never bought a 3rd party book/content/etc but I feel horribly bad for those who bring cool wonders into the community for others to experience (and maybe me as well since I'm very open to it)
With that said I just want to hear your personal opinion on good alternatives for sheets (though if there's customizable options then that's an even bigger plus and imma get you a cookie)
Thanks for your time and potential helpfulness on my quest for sheets/software/sites/etc which I greatly appreciate and may you have a lovely day/night as well ❤🙏
So there are a TON of other rule sets out there, and many ways to track your character’s progression depending on the rule set you are using!
My groups and I will be taking a hiatus from D&D for the next couple years anyway (just canceled my GM membership) to explore other alternatives. May fortune favor you and your party in the years to come, wherever your path may take you!
I can't stand WotC / Hasbro either, but promoting piracy is not an option.
If you own the content, you can print a webpage as a PDF. There are also plugins that make that easier. So if you want a copy of DnDBeyond use a full page webpage printing tool and then print it to a PDF instead of a printer.
Bang, digital copy of DnDBeyond's content you are licensed to have!

I use Foundry VTT and you can import the content you own from DDB to foundry. I plan to move to pathfinder but its good to have an archive just incase.
You don’t actually own any of the content you pay for on Dndbeyond, you just pay for a license to ‘rent’ it. So yeah printing a fullscreen of the page from the website is still piracy.

You are totally wrong according to UE politics. Eurepean folks (including UK ofc) can do whatever they want with the content if there is no profit behind.

OP isn't asking for piracy tips for their books, they are asking for alternative character sheet tools.
Demiplane looks to be creating the DDB setup for lots of RPGs, try it and another RPG. Or just use the books you probably already have.
Also, you don't need a subscription to access the digital content you already purchased.... at least until WOTC puts your 'owned' digital stuff behind a subscription requirement.
I was genuinely surprised at how much Demiplane had to offer - it's Pathfinder's version of D&D beyond, it's called Demiplane Nexus. I've been tinking around on the forums over there ever since this OGL thing and I'm shocked to see just how much they have to offer, and the website seems just as good if not better than D&D. I haven't found it yet but I saw some text implying that they had their own video system too, like you can play throught heir site instead of having to go use Discord video to see your friends, but I'm not sure if I'm right on that since I've only just started noodling around over there. All the books are digital though and the character sheets just like D&D beyond, so - definitely a similar enough experience with no downgrades that I can see.

This thread should be (likely will be) deleted.

@OP: Try Alchemy or Myth-weavers
