If I were to create a campaign setting where the main city is run by Ardlings and they basically run a 24/7 ball-pit harem... I'd immediately get my license to produce DnD content revoked?

Deservedly so the ball pit harem stays in the twisted imagination where it belongs lol
Sure, but I'm expecting exceptions for certain "groups." The issue I see is the subjective "offensive" wording. What's offensive to me, might not be offensive to WOTC, but then I want to publish something that's not offensive to me, and all of a sudden Kyle is sending me hate mail...
Yeah, the language around 'offensive/hateful' is concerning. If you wanna do a 'smash the state/peoples' revolution/uprising' kinda thing that... let's say depicts capitalism as evil (which it is) and landlords as vile parasites exploiting basic needs to allow their capital to grow with zero productive effort (which they are), you could get shut down?

Or the other way around, but sure. What if WOTC feels that your hate towards capitalism and landlords is unacceptable? What if they don't, but the next day find the next guy's hate towards communism and workers is? What's fair in a system where WOTC gets to subjectively decide what is or isn't fair? How will we know till before it's too late?

I'm not expert but that's very unlikely. The "offensive content" thing should be cleared up, but there's no way WotC/Hasbro will use it to justify defending capitalism. It'd be bad press.

lol. Capitalism is the "big bad" in your world, or possibly mainstream, now. Now being the operative term. What happens when the tides change? What happens when it's a faux pas to not defend capitalism?

You said it's bad press to defend capitalism. What happens when it's not?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't see how that's relevant but whatever
