First I would like to say thank you to the wonderful people here who answered my previous questions, and who invited me to their campaigns to check out the books. After getting used to the format, I have found Beyond REALLY convenient to use, especially the hyperlinks for skills / spells.
So long story, maybe https://xender.vip/ not so short, I am going to be buying into Beyond. I saw in another post someone mentioning an easter sale before, but it seems like that is not the case for this year. Does anyone have any insight into if or when a next sale might be?
First of all go to your account adjust email preferences to receive emails. This will be your first alert to sales. Make sure special offers is selected.
I have not observed a pattern in sales, but that does not mean they don't exist.
As a suggestion, as a player, if you want the biggest bang for the buck I would suggest
Species: Mordenkanians, Players Handbook, and Eberron. Of the 105 species 65 are found in these three. Not including Dragonlance which has Kendar
Mordenkanians is also the second largest collection of monsters. Monster Manual being number 1
Feats: PHB, Tashas, and Xanthars will give you the vast majority of feats.
Sales tend to be around major holidays and notable dates. So obvious things like Black Friday and Xmas. With the new movie a month away, as well as Easter/Spring break in that area, one might expect a Spring sale or something similar very soon. The DNDB anniversary usually is one too. Typically, we see about 4-6 sales a year and they vary slightly in offerings. Sales are rarely advertised more than a couple of days in advance, so just because you haven't heard of it now doesn't mean it's not happening. Sign up for email notifications and watch out for banners on the website.
Depending on your level of buy-in, the Player's Bundle is a good start. But you can always browse through books to pick and choose individual items as needed, those count towards the cost of the sourcebooks themselves as well if you decide to purchase it later, and it stacks during sales.
It should be noted that sales can come at short notice, like a week or so. If there is one for Easter time or for the movie, I wouldn't expect notice off a couple of weeks yet.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.

Good point, I would suspect something will be coming with the movie.
The last sale that I knew of was in September of 2022
There was one at Black Friday. They then did a weird last thing where on the Monday they did a further cut on some titles, then went back to the normal sale afterwards. I can't remember.if they did one for Christmas.

I flushed out the rest of what I wanted to buy last year for the Black Friday, cyber Monday sales.
The last sale that I knew of was in September of 2022
Game over man... Game over! -- Pvt. Hudson
There were 2 very popular sales after that. The Black Friday sale, and then the Holiday-ish sale a month later.
