I'm trying to create a set of +1 Splint mail, with Thunder Resistance.  I found the +1 Splint, and I found the Splint with Thunder Resistance, but I can not find these two combined, nor can I figure out how to create this in the magic item generator (i'm probably missing something simple).  Would someone throw me a clue?

My question is, how to I add a +1?

You can add the +1 to the already thunder resistant Splint adding the following modifier:

Bonus -> Armor Class -> Fixed Value 1

OR you can add the Thunder resistance to the already +1 Splint adding this modifier:

Resistance -> Thunder

OR you can create a magic item from scratch and add both :)

Took me a bit as well to get used at how the homebrew builder works, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty straightforward.
