Hello everyone! i was dabbling with a Kalashtar Circle of the Moon druid/ PTW barbarian. I was looking through the spell list and i noticed a spell Primal Savagery. In my head i was thinking about cast the spell first then wild shaping as a bonus action into a bear then my next turn attacking with a bite or clawing attack to take advantage of the cantrip, but my tiny noob mind is telling me that this won't fly so I'm here to ask if it's even possible to do this? any answer good or bad would help greatly or any recommendations would be awesome also just for fun what's ur most enjoy class you played?
You cast Primal Savagery and attack with it. The Attack is part of casting the cantrip, so as long as you're not a Lvl 18 Druid who has the ability to cast spells while being wild shaped this wouldn't work.
That said, I would recommend you the 4th Level spell Guardian of Nature. The Primal Beast version you can choose would be perfect for what you want. You can cast the spell as a Bonus Action and it lasts for 10 minutes.
It wouldn't be to your advantage to do it that way anyway - you're losing your bear attack, while not gaining anything since the cantrip includes the attack as part of it and it doesn't stack damage.
If you wanted to do it for flavour (IE in terms of mechanics, you make the attack as a human the transform and become a bear, but flavour it as you turning into the bear and then making the attack) I'd allow it, but it's not RAW (Rules As Written).

I'm not expert, but reading the spell tells me that the attack has to happen on the same turn.
I'm currently playing a Sorlock and I like it a lot.
