I am starting a campaign with a single player. She loves alchemy (as a general crafter, not the artificer subclass), and since it is just the 2 of us I really don't care if her character is "overpowered". I am curious if anyone has an alchemy supplement they particularly like to add more depth and options? Any alchemy-based product recommendations would be very much appreciated!
Kibbles Tasty is one of the most well-respected homebrewers for 5e around. They've published a full Crafting Guide, which includes Alchemy in the free version. I highly recommend this:

Try this and see if it works for what you want. It's not overly exhaustive, but has some interesting features.
