If you use DDB for your campaigns (as opposed to just for reference for your own character sheet), then maybe?
Where it really shines is if you and the various people at your table have several books that others don't have. You can then pay for a Master Tier Subscription and for a few bucks each month, everyone gets to share all the books that anyone has at the table. So if one there are six of you, one has the PHB, one has the MM, one has the DMG, one has XGtE, one TCoE and then one has the adventure, that means ALL of you get to access all of those books. That means each person gets access to about $300 worth of content and for six people, that's actually an overall saving of about $1.8k...for $5 a month. That's awesome. NB: You do have to buy the books before the sub will let you share them - so you do have to buy, say, the PHB, then you can use the sub to share with your "table".
The thing is...if you're not doing something like that...then it becomes much less worth it. You can have more than six characters in your collection, and you can access the library of shared homebrew. That's not screaming high value to me. In addition, you get some goodies like frames for your character sheets (that can only be accessed while subbed...stop subbing, and you lose access to the goodies unless you resub).
I mean, some will think that's worth it. Personally, I think it's not. It's only really worth it for the sharing of books, with the rest just being nice perks. If you have several books between the various members of the party, then it can definitely be worth it. Otherwise... it's not really worth it, in my opinion.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Or, if you have all $300+ worth of books and some of your players have bupkis the extra $5/6 per month is worth it. I can’t remember if you get the encounter builder and campaign builder with the free subscription (I think you do) but I’ve found them to be very useful tools as well for running my game and having the master tier makes it a “1 stop shopping” for my game.
Im new to DND beyond and i am aslo a DM and i am wondering if the hero/master tier susbscription is good for a dm.
It really depends.

Is it worth it?
Kinda - I've the disposable income for it to be negligible and it makes my life a lot easier for using Foundry in certain respects.
Is it good value for money? No, I don't think so.
