I would like to deactivate a character from a campaign, but not leave the campaign altogether. Could someone tell me where the deactivate button I see referrenced is please?
I can only tell from the DM perspective of a Campaign, but I can deactivate Characters in the Campaign overview.

I have the option to unassign the character or delete it but not deactivate. Looks like only the DM can deactivate then. Thanks for checking.
yeah, that's great for those of us that have deactivated characters and want to swap out with currently active ones, cheers D&DBeyond.
