There are several things wrong with it. 'Fire, bolt' is basically a command for the fire to run away. But then, in the spell description, the fire is described as a mote - not a bolt (and not as 'bolting').
I'm not sure why you'd think this opinion is unpopular though? =)

Crossbow bolts are in two words though. So, maybe the OP is actually wrong.
