Context: Leveling up my wife's character for my Curse of Strahd Campaign. She is 7 levels into cleric and wants to multiclass 1 level into monk. Which is all good, but on her character sheet, it shows she has a 18 AC (unarmored defense) but that she can also equip her shield with it to have a 20 AC. It specifically says in Unarmored defense that it does count when used with a shield https://tweakbox.mobi/https://getappvalley.com/. Question: Am I missing a change in rules or something or does dndbeyond not recognize if you equip a shield with umarmored defense?

Yep, sounds like a bug. Report it.
It's an issue with DDB.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
