If a Wizard character finds a spell book on an adventures with a bunch a spells that they may later want to add to their own spell book once they have saved up enough money for the components, how do you add this to an inventory in D&D Beyond? I can see the spell book in the equipment list but you can't add specific spells to this. Does it have to be a home brew magic item? Anyone any ideas? Thanks.
I'dIsay you can either create a Homebrew magic item, as you thought, or you could use the "othe rpossessions" field and write there the spells included in the book.

Hopefully this won't be an issue once the Revamp goes live.
