I started a campaign with a group of players using the traditional method hosting a "real world" session.
The campaign now needs to move online with a number of players scattered across the UK having returned to University.
I am assuming to do this the characters we used, all the characters supplied by default in Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, will need to be recreated in the players individual D&D Beyond accounts, allowing me to then host our next session online?
or....is there a shortcut to this and those default characters are already available online ready to be imported into our campaign?
So, I believe that you can choose (when creating your character) to go with a premade character as one of the four options for character creation (the other three being quick build, randomised, and something else). The Hill Dwarf Cleric in the premade is super close to the one in the Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, it just has the mace switched for a warhammer. I think the other premade characters for that campaign should also be made there - just look at race and class and match it in the premade section.

I just checked and some inventory is different, but stats, class and race wise it's the same.
Thank you. That is a huge help.
Nice to be DM'ing again and running sessions.
I should be able to adjust the inventory perhaps to match the paper versions of the characters.
