Getting back into D&D after a very long hiatus, and was looking for as many "official" resources as I could find to get back into it. I went onto the blogs for both Wizards and D&D and see that there hasn't been a post on either in over a year. Does anyone know, are these being abandoned?
Building on Davyd’s post above, when Wizards purchased D&D Beyond in April, 2022, one of their stated goals was to consolidate all the different D&D blog locations to a singular hub, and they picked Beyond to be that hub. Accordingly, I would not be surprised if the links you posted never get updated again—Beyond has supplanted their use.

Adding to this, Kyle Brink (I think?) said DnDBeyond was getting orders of magnitude more site traffic than the wizards.com/dnd page was, which is what prompted the shift/consolidation.

Makes sense and good to know. Thanks @Caerwyn_Glyndwr
