Just want to cast my vote in favor of this as well. I'm starting a 1920s Lovecraftian game with somewhat of a focus on sanity and will likely need to track it with an avrae custom counter or something, which feels lame.
I'm assuming, since this was asked 6 years ago, that it's not going to happen? Why can we add a custom skill, but not the abilities that are in the DM's Guide?
Is there a way to add the Honor or Sanity stat to the character sheet?
Wondering this as well, we use the rule, but it does make D&D beyond a little inaccurate.
Staff have said that they are aiming to add support for all of the optional rules.

I'm interested in this as well. My DM is starting a game that utilizes sanity.
With a PDF editor you could probably do it where 'passive perception' is
He who stumbles around in darkness with a stick is blind,
He who sticks out in darkness is... luminescent
- Brother Silence (who is not an elf)
any update?

2 years later, has there been any movement on implementing this feature to support optional rules & custom counters?
The ability to add these custom stats as well as being able to use the spell point system would be fantastic, is there much of an update on this?
Would like to see optional rules support added as well.
DM and forever nerd! I run several campaigns and love to DM! You can either find me in a game or prepping one.
4 years later and still no option for Honor and Sanity?
I guess they forgot about this one... that's too bad

Well, I suspect because adding a custom skill doesn't require them to rejigger the point-buy system in the character creator, for one.
