I am curious if any info has leaked about whether a visual refresh is going to happen with the character sheet view. I also wonder if the Maps ( I know the VTT is going to have it) will get a synergy with the character sheets and monster stats ( will we be able to click on tokens and pull up stats and roll right from the Maps app)
I hope they will address some the wants, needs and complaints that go back to the launch of the DDB website before they address a character sheet makeover, or bring back the broken promise of bundle discount stacking to the new and unimproved marketplace.
Right now, there is very little information. We know that Wizards was hiring quite a few temporary programmer jobs specifically for D&D Beyond (it was on their job postings page), so there is almost certainly going to be some significant changes to the platform.
Most of those program positions were (if I recall correctly) for backend infrastructure and non-public changes. That likely means ensuring the 2024 rules are coded into Beyond and everything works properly. I think there might have been one or two positions specifically looking for folks who could help with the user-facing side of the site. Whether that means substantial changes or just making the user experience for 2024 function, without much in the way of visual change, we do not know.
I asked because it looks like Roll20 is updating there VERY old character sheet designs to accommodate the new rules and design. I wish we had something akin to Demi Plane level UI
