2024 Core Rulebook Bundle Versus One D&D

I am a bit confused with the announcement of the 2024 Core Rulbebook Bundle and the upcoming One D&D. Are they the same thing ??

Yes and no but mainly no

One D&D was the code/project/umbrella name for three things:

1. The D&D 3D virtual tabletop (originally referred to as the Digital Play Experience)
2. The integration of D&D Beyond into Wizards of the Coast
3. The playtest for the new 2024 Core Rulebooks for D&D 5th edition

 1D&D is/was an umbrella term for several things, including the 2024 core rule book playtesting process and development of a virtual table top. 

OK, but this One D&D project will be based on those new rulebook if I understand your answer?

No, One D&D was the working name for the new rulebooks on top of other things.

Just forget about One D&D, thers not going to be anyhting named that.
