Biggest change for warlocks is probably subclass and pact feature have swapped places, so you now get the pact at level 1 and the subclass at level 3. The using charisma for attacks is now part of the pact of the blade so you still get that at level 1 and from what they’ve said after that’ll it’ll just be case of any subclass features you got at level 1 now come online at 3 and everything after that just continues as normal. If you’re transferring an existing character you’re probably over level 3 so it should hopefully be a pretty easy conversion. There’s apparently changes to the eldritch invocations to rebalance or clarify a few and a few extra added so might need to double check the ones you have
EDIT: the other thing I’ve just remembered, eldritch invocations that previously only applied to eldritch blast can apparently now be used on other cantrips so you’ve got a bit more flexibility there
One of my mains is a Xexblade Warlock, and I am trying to see how easy it is to transport her over to the 2024 rules.
