Some sellers on amazon do a really good job. Had to return my damaged copies 3 times till i found a seller in Bangalore that packs books really well. I’ll try and get the name from my past orders and edit this comment. Had ordered illustrated deluxe editions of lotr . Arrived well https://mobdro.bio/ .

CorniferBuggington, some people still play d&D offline or they want to have a non digital copy of the 2024 d&D books. if there is no market for physical copies of D&D books, then the company over D&D, Wizards of the Coast, wouldn't be selling physical copies of D&D books on D&D Beyond website.

I’m not saying that there isn’t a physical market, i have been shipped physical versions of these books a week before they have come out.
This is mainly a thread to discuss wotc’s shipping for the 2024 books.
i have gotten both the dmg and phb 1 week in advance, I’m not complaining, but why?
(I live in Europe btw )
I didn't preorder the DMG but my PHB purchased directly from WotC on the UK site turned up a week early. Meanwhile there's whole threads on here about people ordering from the US site that are still waiting for the PHB never mind getting the DMG early

They definitely paid less but by the time taxes and exchange rates are taken into account I worked it out as closer to $10 than $60
