hi all, my player has made a legacy wood elf cleric in my campaign, but no matter what we do it will not show legacy spells, only 2024 ones. the elf has legacy next to it and the background of acolyte is legacy, but only learn or prepare new spells, we are pulling out our hair lol. any ideas please.
closed--he clicked on the 2024 cleric, legacy on everything except class lol

Tell him not to feel too bad about it — D&D Beyond has done a terrible job of explaining how this is supposed to work and a lot of people have stumbled into this same problem.
Is the "Enable Legacy" option in the Home tab of the character sheet enabled? That has to be active to show Legacy spells... then you'll see a bajillion options, but at least they are there.
