Roll a d100 and get a 68 or higher, roll a d6 and get a 5 or 6. Both 33% odds. (On average)

Well, no, let's back up. The Wish Spell says that if you use it to duplicate another spell of 8th level or lower, you're fine. No negative anything. It's only if you use any of the other triggers that you potentially encounter that.
That said, DragonTamer is spot on. Also worth noting that Heroic Inspiration allows you to reroll ANY die, which would include this.
