this is a lore question, it seems an average githzerai is stronger than githyanki stat block-wise, but that's another matter.
I've been reading some lore lately, specifically about this gith kind, prompted by how relevant they are in bg3.
it just seems that even though they appear to be locked in an unending civil war, githyanki faction seems to be much, much stronger. their militant society and every single gith being a soldier aside; they have dragons (and ephelemon himself) and vlaakith on their camp https://mobdro.bio/.
githzerai are cool and all, but how are they even able to keep an equal footing against such monstrous foes? is it ever touched upon lorewise?
thanks in advance to everyone for their contribution.
