The Sage Advice compendium is keyed towards rules as they existed in the 2014 ruleset, and so many of the answers in that document are no longer accurate or relevant.
Has there been any word in an official or semi-official capacity about how Sage Advice will be handled for the 2024 rules going forward?
I would hope that the document ISN'T updated, so that people still using the 2014 rules can still refer to the rulings that support that ruleset, but that a new 2024 version would be compiled and maintained separately. But it's not clear if Sage Advice is planned to officially continue at all, or if rules advice and errata will be managed through some other avenue.
Anyone have any insight? 2024 PHB rules have been out for a little bit, now, and while they clarify many of the issues that needed clarification via SA, there are enough new ones that have come up that an updated version might be warranted.
While I think it's pretty cut and dry, not everyone does, so twinning spells like Chromatic Orb or Chain Lightning. Basically, spells that allow you hit another creature with an upcast, but only through the upcast affecting a differenteffect that then (potentially) allows another target to be hit.
I don't expect that this forum is the most likely place to ask for Sage Advice. Questions used to be submitted via "X" to Mr. Crawford, but I don't know if that is still the best way to do it.
Can a druid with the grappler feat wildshape into a black bear and use their multiattack to Rend twice while also making two grapple attempts?
Not sure what this has to do with the Sage Advice Compendium, but assuming we're talking about 2024 rules, it's a bit of a gray area. It's not clear whether the black bear's "Rend" attack officially counts as an "unarmed strike", which it would have to for that part of the Grappler feat to be relevant. There was recently a massive thread with a lengthy (and, frankly, ridiculous) argument about monsters making opportunity attacks that delved into this, and there was no real consensus.
Personally, if I were DMing I'd probably rule that you could do it.

Now that all three books are out, I am hoping that we will start to see some form of Sage Advice updates for 2024.
She/Her Player and Dungeon Master
What clarifications would people like to see in an updated Sage Advice?
Personally I would like to see Advice for:
She/Her Player and Dungeon Master

Does anyone know?
Maybe a Mod could ask up the chain?
She/Her Player and Dungeon Master
I would guess that they are still using Twitter, but I wish they weren't.
Mother and Cat Herder. Playing TTRPGs since 1989 (She/Her)
Looks like his X account has been inactive for more than a year so I don't know if that is still the best option.
She/Her Player and Dungeon Master
Clearly a deliberate choice, you can now stumble around with no other action.

The Sage Advice Compendium is specifically for clearing up and adjudicating grey areas like this.
This question was the reason for posting here, specifically.
