Sorry for the long title but I want to get to the point. I have a character planned out and was trying to set them up in the DnD Beyond system. Character is a Reborn Aasimar. Have all the class and gear stuff set. However, I can't find a way to get the Reborn template and Aasimar race to "stack"? I have a feeling its not possible due to syatem limits, but if anyone knows a way please let me know. Thank you in advance.
Your best bet would probably be to homebrew an origin that blends the abilities of the Aasimar with the Reborn. I'm not making characters often on DnDB, so I'm not sure if there's another way to do it - but I'd likely just homebrew to make it work.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
Honestly I might just write the character out. I did my research on the Reborn Lineage/Template and from what I've read it seems to just add a Undead typing and a 1d6 skill roll buff based on proficency bonus. Seems the base race stuff is usually kept aslong as the gm allows it.
That would be my suggestion. Homebrew a new race using Aasimar as a template, then alter/add the Reborn stuff onto it.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.

Important note: it does not make you undead. You are still a humanoid. The cleric won’t accidentally turn you. And you’re leaving out advantage against poison and resistance to poison damage. And a couple other things.
And most of the base species is not kept. Just the skills and any climb/fly/swim speed. So an Aasimar wouldn’t be able to sprout wings, and wouldn’t have healing hands, etc.
It’s really not a template so much as it’s a whole different species. Most stuff goes away. So the problem isn’t that dndbeyond doesn’t let them “stack” it’s that they don’t really stack.

Ah thats good to know. I'll have to rethink the character.
