Can anyone confirm that Valda's Spire come with only 6 subclasses? It is supposed to have 150+ new subclasses. Did Beyond only implement 6, and the rest you just have the text for and have to homebrew or pen and paper?
The version on D&D Beyond — the "player's pack" — only includes six subclasses, yes. It's a subset of what's in the more widely available book. If you want the full version, you need to purchase the actual physical book or the PDF version direct from the publisher.
Part of the reason for the difference, I suspect, is that most of those other subclasses are for the ten entirely new classes that the book also includes, which I suspect DDB didn't feel it was worth spending the immense amount of time and money it would take to implement properly.
There's other stuff in the player's pack besides those subclasses (a couple of species, some feats and spells, etc.) but no, it's not the full book. If you want the full version, you need to purchase the actual physical book or the PDF version direct from the publisher.
They need to add back where you could see what was inside the book and you could individually buy classes, spells, and everything else. Rather than buying a whole campaign i dont want, i would love to own the subclasses etc.

So we dont even get the full book with the purchase? literally just the text for those 6 subclasses only?
