Okay, my husband has our main account, as he is the DM. On my own personal D&D beyond profile, I purchased parts of books from the marketplace, under the impression that his and I's accounts had shared info because he shared our campaign with me. Do those things not share if i'm not the subscription holder? If not I'm gonna be *SO ANGRY* that I spent close to 3 books worth on stuff I'm not going to be able to share with our new D&D group. If that's the case, is there any way to fix this!? HELP!!!
If he has the Master Tier sub, and has turned content sharing on, all content that is owned by anyone in the campaign is shared with everyone else in the campaign. Anything you have purchased someone else should be able to see by searching the add items menu in equipment or by looking at the feats/backgrounds and so forth. As well as, anything someone else has purchased you should be able to see too!
Correct! Say your husband makes a character and doesn't put it in the campaign module, he cannot add the items to it that you are providing to the group from the content sharing. Likewise, if you have a secondary character not in the campaign, you can't access an item that someone else has purchased even though your character currently in the campaign can.
An easier to understand example possibly is - I own all of the content on DDB right now. I have content sharing enabled on 3 of the campaigns that I run, so I can't do content sharing on any other campaigns I'm a player in, but someone else in those campaigns can purchase the master tier and enable content sharing; then everyone is able to access my content even though I myself couldn't share it.

Thank you.
I was really, REALLY worried about the possibility that pulled a real stupid move preemptively buying content not on the DM's profile.
It only works if everyone is involved in the same campaign, is that right?

Gotcha. That definitely makes it a lot clearer. Thank you very much for your help!
May the dice dice ever roll in your favor.
