I have been seeing a lot more existing content being turned into legacy content. Y waste money when u already own most of it. Sure, it adds a few new things, but it doesn't have to make you buy a whole new set of books just to receive some minor revisions to already existing content. For example I already own the grim hollow player pack and the lairs of etharis. Why buy and entire new grim hollow bundle? Just putting it out there.
Sorry, what does the legacy tag have to do with new bundles? The new grim hollow bundle is for people who don't own any of the books. Given you do, you don't need it, just buy the new book
In D&D Beyond, “Legacy” just means an entry doesn’t reflect the latest rules, but you’re still welcome to keep using the ones you’ve already got exactly as you always have.
But even if you did purchase all the previous Grim Hollow books on DDB, with the new one you still get:
A new class with four subclasses
32 new subclasses for the PHB classes (+4 revised)
19 new species (+2 revised)
25 new backgrounds
41 new feats, across every feat category
85 new spells (+17 revised)
82 new mundane items, including new weapons with new properties and masteries
It’s a big chonkin’ book… and there’s still more coming with the Campaign Guide next month.
While the moderator is here, would you mind passing along that I am having trouble with the class listings on the application. It seems when I initially tried to narrow down the listings to content I have access to, I accidentally put put classes into the we couldn't find any data for this item screen, and has a retry option that won't refresh it and it means I have to restart the application to get listings working otherwise fine. This causes me to have to go to the sourcebook in question to look up classes. Can u get the technical team on that 4 me asap plz
