So I have a fire genasi dragon sorcerer I’ve just recently had to mutliclass into a celestial warlock to help out with heals in my party. But I don’t know a lot about gods And stuff Bc i don’t play those type of classes a lot and I’m kinda new to D&D. So basically I need help choosing a patron for my character.
He is an ******* to an extent and easily angered.. he is kinda quiet but very blunt. He is also kind of cocky but he likes animals—he has a pet lizard that he would burn anyone alive if they tried to hurt it ( fun story: he actually got put in jail in a town Bc one of the guards took his lizard while taking his stuff so he could question him....he wasn’t a happy camper)......I wanted to summarize his personality alittle to help understand what kind of patron would fit him😄
Maybe either a unicorn or a Pegasus? They’re both “animals” as well as being celestials. I’d lean towards the Pegasus for him because they’re chaotic which fits his personality better.

How much was this your choice? You should never be forced into a character choice. If the party is having a hard time healing, maybe you need to find more natural plants or buy more potions? And why you? Why not another player taking a split into something else?
Aside from the question of "Should I?" I always suggest a Ki-Rin from Volo's Guide or a Solar. Or just go an make your own celestial Patron reskin of a normal creature. It doesn't have to be the stats of that creature, but you can have an angelic touched version of any creature who just happened to get powerful enough to have a warlock or two. I heavily suggest a holy version of a Purple Worm or a holy dragon because that fits with your draconic bloodline. Make it an Ancient Gold Dragon that is a servant of Bahamut. That would be very fitting.
I offered it because our party is small and we lost our main healer— my character had a romantic thing with said healer so he made the pact to bring her back to life :) it’s on my dm didn’t force it on me
You can kill a dedicated healer by wearing them down, it almost happened to me once, but it takes a LOT of wearing down. You're right, it's incredibly difficult.

Guardinals from older editions would be something worth looking at. The are neutral good. Talisid is a massive Lion/humanoid hybrid.
