I'm a new DnD Beyond user, I recently bought the 2024 Player's Handbook, so me and my friend can play with the newes ruleset.
I created a new campaing got that master Subscription trial to test the content sharing, so far so good.
But if I want to create a char, I cant see the 2024 Player's Handbook I only see the 2014 Core rules etc. but not the one I bought, am I missing something? Is it not possible to use that book? I just kinda frustrated atm.
You are not told before hand that if you have not purchased a digital version of book X it will not show up. From personal experience, I received the PHB as a gift. Even though I owned it, I was not able to view all of the classes until I purchased a digital version.
If you buy the physical version, you get the physical version. If you buy the digital version, you get the digital version. If you buy the combo, you get both.
I can understand the confusion though. Nearly every other TTRPG publisher out there gives you a PDF with your purchase, or at least offers one for just a little bit more. WotC is kinda stuck in the 90's still, but hopefully they can catch up with modern distribution some day.
Well, Beyond is far superior to a PDF in terms of utility, so I wouldn’t say they’re behind the curve. Plus, it’s really easy for PDFs to get passed around, further disincentivizing their use as opposed to Beyond.

ModeratorIf you check this page, are your Account Entitlements in sync? Is that book listed under Current Product Licenses?

In the Home tab of the character builder, do you have "Core Rules" enabled for that character?
If all those are true, can you give a specific example of a PHB character option you're unable to select?
