So I’ve been thinking the O2 is more of a venue for concerts & Shows. I know they have announced the two shows on opening night & the one on Sunday. But my main question is how this an expo ? I’d of thought it make sense to be at the Excel for an expo like most other conventions. I love D&D and I enjoy watching and listening to shows but I’d rather it be an option if that makes sense ? I’d rather spend the day going round stalls, playing the game, hanging out and stuff like that like most other conventions. They havent really announced what else there is to do apart from there will be tables and stalls but I don’t know the O2 seems like a bit of a strange venue for it ? sorry it’s very late here and my 11 month old is keeping me up and im very sleep deprived! I hope I make some sense ! If I get my long rest in hell even a short rest I’ll re write what I mean 🤣🫠
The O2 does have lots of exhibition space in addition to it's arena venues, however the Excel center doesn't have arena space. So it makes sense to go with the O2 if you want to put on live plays. I do agree that if I were to go, it'd be to attend the exhibition stuff—vendors, games etc. I'm waiting on further info on that before I pull the trigger
I’ve been similarly confused over what this actually is as the announcement wasn’t incredibly clear and the choice of venue seemed odd. I’d love it to be a proper D&D convention but if it’s mostly live plays it becomes a lot less interesting
