I have used AI to try to find the answer and it says to prepare the spell, click cast and then in the Action tab the button Add Familiar will show. Others say that when I click cast on Find Familiar the option to select a familiar will popup. I get none of that. I am use 5e for this game. How do I do it.

Perfect AI answer, not even close to the actual answer and no where near any function that's available on the site. Just pure hallucination.
As Athanar says go to the extras page of your character sheet, click on "Manage Extras" and it'll give you a drop down of different extras you can add like familiars and wild shapes. Choose Familiar and it'll give you a list of all options, just choose the type you want (note that it pretty much gives you the entire Monster Manual, not all the offered options can be used for a familiar)

First of all, never trust AI, it's all garbage.
Add the familiar under Extras on your sheet.
